Ralph K Badmann passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, 1 month shy of his 96th birthday. He was born (1926) in a small town, Sontheim Am Neckar, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1930.
He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor Yaeger Badmann.
Ralph was a proud member of the United States Navy, serving in World War II in the Pacific in New Guinea.
He was a successful businessman, graduating from Drexel University. He was able to take his children on trips throughout the United States as he traveled.
Growing up, he was a member of St. Jakobus Lutheran Church at 3rd and Columbia Sts. in Philadelphia. In 1950, he and his bride Eleanor moved to the Rhawnhurst section and he was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Burholme.
When he and Eleanor moved to Southampton Estates, in the late ’90s, he continued working, but also found time to be active at the Estates. Ralph is survived by his children Karla Badmann Copper (the late Charles), Ralph F. (Cynthia M.),
David E. (Donna L) and Eric W.
Also survived by 9 grandchildren; Ralph G. Badmann (the late Krystal), Brian M. Copper (Christine), Amy Badmann Lechleitner (Stanley), Kristen Copper Dolan (Manus), Kassandra Badmann Cruz (Jonathan), David M. Badmann (Liz), Danielle Badmann (fiancé Jaron Breen), Emily Badmann Parsons (Matthew), Holly Badmann and 13 great-grandchildren; Jackson, Noah, Leah, Manus C. Rian, Mykala, Nora, Grace, Julianna, Camryn, Sammy, Bryson, Avery.
Ralph is also survived by 3 nieces: Ruth, Margaret, Marie, Goddaughter Lisa Diehl Somers, and a friend
Anne Deckman.
