Corey Joseph Quinn was born on August 8, 1991 in Elkins Park, PA.
A beloved family man, Corey never stopped doing what was in his power to show the ones he loved they were special. He made friends all too easily and proved to have the kind and gentle soul they all praised him for. Those friends always turned into family, and his constant routine of checking on them would make you believe it. While he was shy at times, he always made sure to remind his loved ones of his appreciation and support. At parties he never arrived or left without giving everyone a kiss or a hug. Corey fully embraced his family's mission to never leave anyone behind.
He was a graduate of Philadelphia Academy Charter School. Corey followed sports religiously and shared his father's love for the Dallas Cowboys. He had a very powerful admiration for music, particularly hip-hop, often quoting lyrics wherever he went. He enjoyed taking any odd job he was offered and presented a shining attitude in doing so. They say things get easier with comedy, and Corey knew that better than anyone, often reminding his family to laugh when they needed it most. His bright attitude lit even the darkest of rooms.
He passed away at the age of 28 on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Corey is survived by his mother Joanne, father Brian, paternal grandmother Margaret, stepfather George, brothers Tim and Nick, uncles Bill, Steven, John, Bob, and Tom, aunts Peggy, Diane, and Lorey, and cousins Lauren, Karen, Christina, Danny, Stephanie, TJ, Kyle, and Jessica. He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather Robert and maternal grandparents William and Joan.
