Henry C Adami

May 22, 1923 ~ January 23, 2019 (age 95)

Henry Adami was 95 years old when he died last week and truly exemplified the "Greatest Generation". Born to German immigrants in Philadelphia in 1923, he graduated from Overbrook High School  He served the country fighting in World War Two in the Army in campaigns in Africa and Europe. After the war he married the love of his life Elizabeth "Betty" Ball He was a dedicated father to three children  Judy, Ken and Mark providing for his family  by working many years for Arrow Tool and Die Company.  He endlessly showed his devotion to his wife by taking care of her for so many years after she became ill with cancer and Alzheimer's disease. He spent the last 11 years living independently at the Philadelphia Protestant Home in Northeast Philadelphia. He was a wonderful father, devoted husband, and friend to many.
